Carmie Leister

Carmie Leister, MS, CCC-SLP is the owner and founder of Bright Horizons Pediatric Therapy, LLC. She is a certified speech and language pathologist who has been servicing the Atlanta area for the past 21 years. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida, and received her Master’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Her clinical practice experience includes the following: public school system, private practice, Babies Can’t Wait and outpatient rehabilitation. She has serviced children with a variety of delays/disorders which include the following: Early Childhood Language Delay, Articulation/Phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Oral Motor, Auditory Processing, Receptive and Expressive Language Delays, Voice, Fluency (Stuttering), Pragmatics (Social Skills), Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC), Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome. Her love and passion for treating children has allowed her to establish an excellent reputation within the community.

Carmie and her husband Chip have two lovely children as well as an Australian Cattle Dog. When Carmie is not working she enjoys spending quality time with her family, gardening, and traveling to the North Georgia Mountains.
