Lisa Black, MS, CCC-SLP, is a certified speech and language pathologist who
graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from
San Diego State University in 2009. She worked as a speech language clinician while
attending graduate school at Nova Southeastern University in Orlando, FL. and
graduated with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014. Lisa is an
ASHA certified and state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, and has practiced in
public schools, clinics, daycares, and homes. Lisa has also previously served as
a therapist on the preschool evaluation and treatment team in Culver City, CA.
She has
experience working with children with a variety of communication disorders ranging
from: Articulation/Phonology Disorders, Apraxia, Receptive/Expressive Language
Disorders, Pragmatic (social) Language, Early Childhood Language Delay and Fluency
Disorders. Her passion comes from helping all children reach their communication
potential by providing research-based intervention. Lisa and her husband have two
precious boys and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling,
being outdoors, and checking out the local Atlanta cuisine.
