I reached out to Carmie after my 5 year old confided in me that he was having trouble with certain sounds at school. He had resorted to avoiding certain words so that his friends understood him better. Shelly assessed and treated my son - he was discharged from therapy after 4 days, 2 sessions. Shelly equipped my son with tools to help him work through his difficulties. He was SO CONFIDENT and feels so prepared for kindergarten. Thank you!!
5 stars doesn't even begin cover how wonderful Carmie and Katie are! We started our 20 month old with Bright Horizons with him saying at best, one or two words. Less than a year later he is speaking at a level compatible with his peers! Katie truly unlocked his voice and we are forever grateful! She is so kind and welcoming, our son was beyond excited to see her every week! If you are even slightly concerned with your baby's speech, look no further!
Can’t say enough amazing things about this practice. The owner, Carmie, does a great job at asking questions to make sure your child is with the right therapist. We were lucky enough to get Katie Flowers and we LOVED her! She is so kind and truly has a passion to help littles with their speech. My son is so obsessed with her and would look forward to going weekly to “play.” When we started my son was maybe saying 40 words or so. I noticed major improvements within the first month of speech therapy. We have since graduated the program and my son is confident in his speech and no longer gets frustrated because he’s able to communicate what he needs. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful practice. Thank you for helping my little boy find his voice.
My son and I such a great experience here. Ms. Shelley (his speech therapist) is the best! Carmie made the scheduling and billing a breeze and was very responsive. I would highly recommend!
I cannot speak more highly of Bright Horizons especially Katie Flowers! My son had speech services with her for a little over a year and soared with progress. Katie as well as all the therapists were constantly loving, caring, and attentive to my son and his needs. Everyone there treated us as if we were family the second we walked in the door! Not only are they thorough with the children during sessions but they work with parents to implement things at home to help. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the child's needs are met and they feel comfortable.Katie is a ray of sunshine who treats her patients with endless love and kindness. My son asks to see Katie daily and adores her! We will always have a special spot in our hearts for Katie and Bright Horizons for helping our boy find his voice!
